Gránit EuróKamat Absolute Return Derivative Fund aims to provide a medium-risk investment opportunity that will offer balanced performance for euro savings in the long term. The fund primarily invests in bonds guaranteed by OECD or EEA member states, as well as bank, corporate and mortgage bonds, but does not exclude bank deposits and other money market instruments from the portfolio. The fund manager has the freedom to vary the composition of the portfolio within the limits set by the management regulations, seeking investment opportunities with favourable risk/return characteristics. As an absolute return fund, it aims to achieve a positive return independent of the capital market environment and to exceed a risk-free return indicator or index, which in this fund’s case is the 12-month EURIBOR. For investments denominated in currencies other than the euro, the fund may hedge the currency risk with derivative transactions but may also take open currency positions. The “I” series of the fund is only available to professional investors. This fund may not suit investors who intend to withdraw their money within 3 years.
