Dezső Böröczky earned his Master’s degree in Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2020. Alongside his academic studies, he was a member of the Heller Farkas College for Advanced Studies and also won an OTDK (National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference) award and a Kochmeister Prize.
He began his career in 2015 at the Hungarian Development Bank, working as an intern in the bank’s project office. From 2016, he played a role in building the structure of the venture capital fund management company at Hiventures Zrt. as a Junior Business Development Manager.
In 2018, he completed the six-month Banker Training Mentor Program and then studied for a semester as an exchange student at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Following this, he returned to Hiventures in 2019 as a Junior Investment Manager, where he focused on financing incubation-stage startups.
He joined the Business Development division of Gránit Asset Management in September 2020, continued his work as a Senior Business Development Manager from February 2022, and in June 2023, he took over the leadership of the Asset Management Company’s Strategy and Business Development team. In this role, his responsibilities include product development, sales, marketing, and ESG activities of the asset management company. Since May 2023, he has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hungarian Association of Investment Fund Managers and Asset Managers (BAMOSZ), and since 2025, he has also been a Member of the Board of Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (HuSIF).
