Dezső Böröczky graduated with a BA in Business and Management in 2017 and an MSc in Finance in 2020 from Corvinus University of Budapest. Alongside his higher education, he was a member of the Heller Farkas College for Advanced Studies and also won an OTDK (National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference) award and a Kochmeister Prize.
He began his career in 2015 at the Hungarian Development Bank, where he worked as an intern in the organizational unit responsible for the bank’s key strategic projects. From 2016, he played a role in building the structure of the venture capital fund management company at Hiventures Zrt. as a Junior Business Development Manager.
In 2018, he completed the six-month Banker Training Mentor Program and then studied for a semester as an exchange student at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Following this, he returned to Hiventures in 2019 as a Junior Investment Manager, where he focused on financing incubation-stage startups.
He joined the Business Development division of Gránit Asset Management in September 2020, continued his work as a Senior Business Development Manager from February 2022, and in June 2023, he took over the leadership of the Asset Management Company’s Strategy and Business Development team. In this role, his responsibilities include product development, sales, marketing, and ESG activities of the asset management company. Since May 2023, he has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hungarian Association of Investment Fund Managers and Asset Managers (BAMOSZ).
