Álmos MIKESY

Álmos Mikesy graduated with a degree in Economics, specializing in International Economics and Business, from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2009. Subsequently, he completed the Bank Manager postgraduate program at BCE (Corvinus University of Budapest) and earned an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2022.
Álmos Mikesy has over 15 years of experience in the financial and business sectors. He began his career at the Hungarian Development Bank in 2007, where he worked as a macroeconomic analyst and later as a project manager. Following this, he played a key role in the establishment of Hiventures Zrt., where he served as Head of Business Development, later as Investment Director, and finally as Deputy CEO.
He joined Gránit Asset Management as a member of the Board of Directors in April 2021 and served as Deputy CEO for one year. Over the years, he has gained diverse professional experience as a member and chairman of the supervisory boards of numerous financial companies. He has been the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Gránit Asset Management since February 22, 2023.

Márton OLÁH

Márton Oláh has 30 years of experience in the capital and banking sectors. He began his career at Creditanstalt Értékpapír Zrt., then served as Trading Director at CAIB Értékpapír Zrt. between 1998 and 2004, and as Managing Director at HVB Bank from 2004 to 2006.

Between 2008 and 2016, he worked as a Member of the Board of Directors at BIF Nyrt. and as Managing Director of the Futurmed Group. During this period, from 2008 to 2015, he was also a member of the Investment Committee of Central-Fund Venture Capital Fund Management Zrt.

From 2015 to 2017, he held leading positions within the FHB Bank Group: in 2015, he was appointed Deputy CEO and later CEO of FHB Jelzálogbank Nyrt. Concurrently, from the beginning of 2015, he became the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of FHB Bank Zrt. Here, his responsibilities included coordinating activities between FHB and the Takarék Group and enhancing the bank’s competitiveness.

Márton Oláh also played a key role in the management of Gránit Asset Management: he served as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Gránit Asset Management between 2010 and 2017. During this time, he gained significant expertise in the asset management sector and has an in-depth understanding of the Asset Management Company’s operations. From April 2021, he was responsible for the development of the Asset Management Company as CEO for one year, and since March 2022, he has continued his professional work as a Member of the Board of Directors of Gránit Asset Management.

Róbert BARLAI

Róbert Barlai began his career in 1993 on the Hungarian capital market at a private brokerage firm. He subsequently worked at Hypo Bank’s brokerage firm, and from 1999, he continued his career at Erste Bank’s investment company, from where he departed as Trading Director in 2008 after being approached by OTP Bank.

At OTP Bank, he worked as a Managing Director and assumed responsibility for building the entire banking group’s capital market operations. In this position, he established an independent, Group-level Treasury matrix organization that resulted in a successful business model spanning 10 countries. The team he led supported operations with unified IT systems, a product range, centralized risk management, and strong sales & trading areas. He was also responsible for developing custody, securities issuance, and correspondent banking services.

In recognition of his professional work, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange for nearly 10 years from 2009 and also became a member of the management boards of several OTP subsidiaries. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Gránit Asset Management since 2021.

Zombor ERDÉLYI

Zombor Erdélyi obtained his degree in Economic Analyst in Mathematical Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2010, and further enhanced his knowledge of the financial markets by successfully completing the ACI Dealing Diploma and CFA programs.

He has 15 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly in capital markets. He began his career as a stock trader at Futures First, where he gained first-hand experience in the operation of global financial markets. From 2013, he worked as a controlling expert at OTP, and from 2014, he led the Treasury Mid-Office at FHB Bank. Between 2017 and 2018, as Head of the Business Cabinet at FHB Bank, he supported the Deputy CEO of the bank’s Business Division, managing projects affecting the entire division.

Between 2018 and 2021, he headed the Market and Liquidity Risk Management Center at Takarékbank, where he introduced new market and liquidity risk models and processes. The team under his leadership played a crucial role in managing the market turbulence caused by COVID-19, providing rapid and effective responses to the challenges.

Since 2022, he has worked at Gránit Asset Management as Head of Risk Management and Controlling, where he developed risk management systems in line with market best practices. His work and the projects completed under his leadership have contributed to the stable and efficient operation of Gránit Asset Management. 1 He has been the Deputy CEO of Gránit Asset Management since July 2023.

Szilárd KOVÁCS

Szilárd Kovács has three decades of experience in asset management. He graduated as an economist from the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration and as a mechanical engineer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. During his career, he worked at four different asset management companies, where he gained comprehensive knowledge across the entire spectrum of the profession. He worked as a portfolio manager for fifteen years, as a CEO for thirteen years, and has been responsible as Head of Securities Investments for two and a half years. In his work, he has gained extensive experience in the professional management of asset managers, product development, and the management of equity, mixed, bond, real estate, and money market funds. He is proud of the diverse knowledge he has accumulated.

At Erste Asset Management, he managed real estate, bond, and mixed funds, as well as pension funds, for fifteen years. At Gránit Asset Management, he holds the senior position responsible for securities investments. In the investment workshop, he has built a new and effective portfolio management team, whose success he attributes to the expertise of his colleagues.

Dezső BÖRÖCZKY

Dezső Böröczky graduated with a BA in Business and Management in 2017 and an MSc in Finance in 2020 from Corvinus University of Budapest. Alongside his higher education, he was a member of the Heller Farkas College for Advanced Studies and also won an OTDK (National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference) award and a Kochmeister Prize.

He began his career in 2015 at the Hungarian Development Bank, where he worked as an intern in the organizational unit responsible for the bank’s key strategic projects. From 2016, he played a role in building the structure of the venture capital fund management company at Hiventures Zrt. as a Junior Business Development Manager.

In 2018, he completed the six-month Banker Training Mentor Program and then studied for a semester as an exchange student at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Following this, he returned to Hiventures in 2019 as a Junior Investment Manager, where he focused on financing incubation-stage startups.

He joined the Business Development division of Gránit Asset Management in September 2020, continued his work as a Senior Business Development Manager from February 2022, and in June 2023, he took over the leadership of the Asset Management Company’s Strategy and Business Development team. In this role, his responsibilities include product development, sales, marketing, and ESG activities of the asset management company. Since May 2023, he has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hungarian Association of Investment Fund Managers and Asset Managers (BAMOSZ).

Gábor POZSGAI

Gábor Pozsgai has decades of professional experience in the financial sector. He began his career at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank as a leading dealer, then worked in FI trading at Citibank Értékpapír Rt. and Creditanstalt Értékpapír Rt. He established his management competence in the sales-trading department of Takarékbróker Ép. Rt.

In addition, he obtained a degree in Psychology from ELTE BTK in 2007 and worked as a psychologist at the Markhot Ferenc Hospital in Eger between 2006 and 2011.

He then continued his professional career as Head of Retail Sales at OTP Bank Treasury, where he contributed to the development of the banking operations and relevant regulations of the Treasury Sales department. From 2019, he worked as an MM Dealer at KDB Bank Európa Zrt. Since August 2021, he has strengthened the team of Gránit Asset Management as Head of Sales, where he plays a key role in the development of the sales area.

Tibor RUZSINSZKI

Tibor Ruzsinszki graduated as an economist from Corvinus University of Budapest. He began his professional career of over 25 years in the financial department of Matáv Real Estate Directorate, then as Head of Asset Management, he was responsible for the company’s entire asset portfolio.

As part of Hungary’s first real estate outsourcing, he moved to NEO Property Services Zrt., where for 20 years he led the facility, property, and general contracting divisions as Business Line Director. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he considers it important to enhance the recognition of the FM profession. He is an active member of LEO (National Association of Facility Managers), where he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and co-author and expert of the FM Benchmarking books. He is also responsible for compiling the quarterly LEO Mood Index (LVHI).

He joined the team of Gránit Asset Management in January 2024, where as Head of Real Estate Investments, he is responsible for the entire real estate portfolio.
